Department of Language and Culture
  In
our ever-shrinking world, real language ability and
an understanding of and openness to different cultures
are becoming increasingly important. The aim of this
department is mastery of the languages taught and an understanding
of the cultures of which they form an inseparable part.
Students are able to undertake study abroad program,
selecting classes from a variety of disciplines with
the central theme of language and culture. Students
are able to refine their linguistic skills and widen
their cultural horizons through the study of core subjects
in the areas of International Language, International
Relations and Language and Culture. The language courses
are taught in small, intensive classes, while for cultural
subjects the classes are seminar style with discussion
and debate an integral part of the course. |
